VIDEO: Epi-Bowman keratectomy offers favorable outcomes, less pain
NEW YORK — In a presentation at OSN New York, Marguerite B. McDonald, MD, discusses Epi-Bowman’s keratectomy with the Epi Clear device from Orca Surgical.
“The peer reviewed literature supports that there is far less pain,” McDonald said. “There is faster re-epithelialization, better return of uncorrected and best corrected visual acuity, better refractive outcomes closer to plano, more uncorrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better and fewer enhancements.”
