VIDEO: Faricimab efficacy emphasized at ASRS annual meeting
SEATTLE — In this video, Esther M. Bowie, MD, discusses the results of the TRUCKEE study presented at the ASRS annual meeting by Emmanuel Y. Chang, MD, PhD, FACS, FASRS.
The trial evaluated the real-world efficacy and safety of faricimab in neovascular age-related macular degeneration, and Bowie noted the decrease in subretinal fluid.
“Of note, there were no red flags, even with the study of vasculitis, so that is pretty exciting,” Bowie, a professor of ophthalmology at the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, said.
