VIENNA — In this Healio Video Perspective from the ESCRS meeting, Roger Zaldivar, MD, speaks about the EVO ICL from STAAR Surgical.
He favors the ICL over all other refractive procedures because it provides high predictability, patient satisfaction and “wow” effect, verified through quality of vision assessment.
“Even though I like a lot doing LASIK and other procedures, the effect and the ‘wow’ effect that I finally get with the ICL are very difficult to reproduce,” Zaldivar said.
With more than 30 years of experience with this technology in his clinic, he feels he can reassure surgeons that they will not regret adopting this lens in their practice.
