MARCO ISLAND, Fla. — In this Healio Video Perspective, Eris Jordan, OD, vice president of global clinical and medical affairs at Aurion Biotech, discusses a poster presentation comparing three clinical trials of endothelial cell therapy.

The retrospective comparative analysis looked at the safety and efficacy of injectable human endothelial cell therapy in patients with corneal edema in clinical trials conducted in Japan and El Salvador.

“What is amazing about the data that we presented is the consistency and repeatability of outcomes across different geographies involving a variety of patient cohorts and multiple surgeons,” Jordan said at the Women in Ophthalmology Summer Symposium.
