SEATTLE — In this Healio Video Perspective from the ASRS annual meeting, Lisa M. Nijm, MD, JD, previews what attendees can expect from this year’s Women in Ophthalmology Summer Symposium.
The meeting will take place from Aug. 24 to Aug. 27 in Marco Island, Florida, and will cover a variety of topics in ophthalmology, including innovations in geographic atrophy, dry eye disease, glaucoma, IOLs, neurosciences “and everything in between,” Nijm said, in addition to professional development topics and networking opportunities.
“We really hope to see you there, where we bring together women and all supporters of women under one house in order to be able to improve the professional and personal environment for women ophthalmologists everywhere,” she said.
