In this Healio Video Perspective from the American Glaucoma Society meeting, Thomas W. Samuelson, MD, discusses positive safety and efficacy data for the ViaLase femtosecond laser image-guided high-precision trabeculotomy treatment.
“We looked at pretty much every safety metric you could imagine over the course of 1 year, and it was extremely safe,” he said. “This data adds to the existing data that demonstrates the safety of the use of the femtosecond laser in ocular surgery.”
