VILAMOURA, Portugal — At the ESCRS winter meeting, Jorge L. Alió, MD, PhD, speaks about customized excimer laser treatment using total wavefront-guided or topography-guided methods.
“The first are very useful in refining refraction in special cases with a limited amount of higher-order aberrations, and the second use the topography information in order to provide adequate guidance to the treatment for large irregularities,” he said.
