KOLOA, Hawaii — In this Healio Video Perspective from Hawaiian Eye 2023, Caroline R. Baumal, MD, previews retinal meeting topics, including her own presentation on pediatric retinal detachment.
“We'll be discussing some interesting topics including pediatric retinal diseases, uveitis, endophthalmitis and intraocular tumors with global subspecialists in these topics,” Baumal said.
“I'll be discussing pediatric retinal detachment and some of the special considerations. And even though this covers some of the special pediatric needs, the concepts can really be generalized to all sorts of retinal detachment with the same principles and how to deal with more complex cases,” she said.
