KOLOA, Hawaii — In this Healio Video Perspective from Retina 2023, Lejla Vajzovic, MD, FASRS, discusses updates in 3D intraoperative OCT in retinal surgery.

“Intraoperative OCT will be the future in the sense that it will help us understand the depth information needed to guide us for surgical delivery of drugs in the subretinal space,” she said. “It will help us guide other procedures, such as robotics, because depth information is important to understand where exactly to proceed with those procedures.”
