“I think these are really exciting times in glaucoma. We’re looking at ideas differently than previously,” she said. “We are no longer waiting until the disease has progressed and cutting big holes in the eye. We are now catching and treating disease in more mild and moderate stages, educating the public and, ultimately, having better outcomes.”
