In this Healio Video Perspective from Glaucoma 360 New Horizons Forum, Malik Y. Kahook, MD, discusses study data investigating the Spyglass drug delivery platform, which offers sustained delivery of bimatoprost.

Kahook presented 6-month data investigating use of the hydrophobic acrylic IOL and drug-eluting pads.

“We show a mean reduction in intraocular pressure of 45%, and just as noteworthy is the fact that all of the eyes remain off of topical therapy,” he said. “We are very excited about the results to date and will continue to follow and share the data along the way.”
