KOLOA, Hawaii — In this Healio Video Perspective from Hawaiian Eye 2023, Audrey R. Talley Rostov, MD, discusses femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery for complex cases.

“You can take the stress out of some of these really complicated cases by using the tools at your disposal,” she said.

In a case of a white cataract, for example, Scheimpflug imaging or OCT imaging can help determine the density of the cataract, and FLACS technology can be used “to take the worry out of your case,” she said.
