KOLOA, Hawaii — In this Healio Video Perspective from Hawaiian Eye 2023, Michael Patterson, DO, discusses Johnson & Johnson’s OptiBlue violet light-filtering technology for multifocal IOLs.
“Everyone that’s getting multifocal lenses in the past have had the biggest concern of glare, halos, photopsias,” Patterson said. “And the idea is that we put a filter in that will allow this to cut down some of the wavelengths of light that cause the glare and halo.”
