KOLOA, Hawaii — In this Healio Video Perspective from Hawaiian Eye 2023, Andrew Harrison, MD, discusses how specialists can identify eyelid lesions as benign or malignant.
“Some of the things that point toward malignancies, something that should be biopsied, include destruction of the eyelid margin, loss of lashes, a nodular lesion that is rapidly growing, a necrotic center or ulceration in the eyelid and irregular pigmentation,” he said.
