CHICAGO — In this exclusive surgical video for Healio/OSN, I. Paul Singh, MD, demonstrates a goniotomy using the new Sion surgical instrument, a manually operated bladeless device from Sight Sciences.
According to Singh, the Sion offers surgeons a smooth and effective way to excise trabecular meshwork from the eye during goniotomy while relieving intraocular pressure in patients with glaucoma.
