NEW YORK — In this Healio Video Perspective from OSN New York, John A. Hovanesian, MD, FACS, discusses the IC-8 Apthera IOL from AcuFocus, designed to correct up to 1.5 D of astigmatism.
“We think this IC-8 Apthera lens will have a lot of use, not just for treating low astigmatism, but also for patients who have irregular corneas where we’re not exactly sure how to correct the astigmatism,” he said.
