In this Healio Video Perspective, Rishi P. Singh, MD, discusses his presentation from the Retina Society meeting covering the 24-month data investigating pegcetacoplan for the treatment of geographic atrophy.

“What this study was able to show in both OAKS and DERBY over a 2-year period was that there was a significant reduction in geographic atrophy growth and progression,” he said. “What was particularly important was seeing that in the last 6 months of the trial, there was an increased reduction and effect of this drug over that period of time.”
