NEW YORK — In this video, David Eichenbaum, MD, director of research at Retina Vitreous Associates of Florida, discussed the current pipeline of treatments for geographic atrophy at OSN New York Retina.

Eichenbaum talked about studies involving gene therapies delivered in several different methods, including intraocular gene therapy with transvitreal injection.

“It could reduce the patient burden if the protein products, which modulate complement in those studies, work,” Eichenbaum said.
