NEW YORK — In this video, Caroline R. Baumal, MD, of New England Eye Center in Boston, discussed recent advances in imaging technology targeting geographic atrophy at OSN New York Retina.
Baumal specifically highlighted the current state of fundus autofluorescence and OCT, along with new classifications in geographic atrophy.
“I think this will play the key role in how we classify and evaluate future patients for therapeutics,” Baumal said.
