NEW YORK — In this video, Rishi P. Singh, MD, president Cleveland Clinic Martin Health in Florida, discussed promising clinical trials in the treatment of geographic atrophy at OSN New York Retina.
Singh focused on two drugs in clinical trials that have shown positive results in reducing progression of geographic atrophy, as well as possibilities involving gene therapy and retinal pigment epithelium cell transplantation.
“This is becoming another alternative to all the treatments we have thus far,” Singh said.
