VIDEO: DERBY, OAKS key to geographic atrophy investigation
NEW YORK — In this video, Yasha S. Modi, MD, of NYU Langone Health, discusses trials in new drugs designed to treat geographic atrophy at OSN New York Retina.
Modi specifically talks about the DERBY and OAKS studies and the potential effects of and outlook for pegcetacoplan.
“These drugs, the effect is not for 1 year or 2 years, but maybe we start to appreciate the effects of these drugs once we get out to a half decade or more,” Modi said.
