VIDEO: More retinal tissue preserved over time with pegcetacoplan

DENVER — Pegcetacoplan was effective at preserving retinal tissue in patients with geographic atrophy, with an increasing magnitude of effect over time, according to Roger Goldberg, MD, here at the ARVO meeting.

When combining results from the DERBY and OAKS phase 3 trials at 18 months, the dose response curve showed that monthly injections were more effective than every other month, he said.
