WAIKOLOA, Hawaii — In this video from Hawaiian Eye 2022, Elizabeth Yeu, MD, FACS, refractive eye surgeon at Virginia Eye Consultant in Norfolk, touched on the advancements of premium IOLs.

“It’s wonderful that we have different diffractive lens implants that are beyond just bifocality,” Yeu said. “It’s not just distance and middle, or distance and very close up, but we can definitely have trifocality, or an EDOF effect, plus near vision. I’ve had really phenomenal results.”
