WAIKOLOA, Hawaii — In this video from Hawaiian Eye 2022, Alan Faulkner, MD, a LASIK eye surgeon from Honolulu, discussed his long history of implanting the Visian ICL from STAAR Surgical.

“I’ve been putting the Visian ICL in for 16 years, now. Ever since its approval in the U.S.,” he said. “It has always been a significant part of my refractive practice. We position the ICL as another alternative to LASIK, and in patients eligible for both, we always give them the alternative.”
