WAIKOLOA, Hawaii — In this Healio Video Perspective from Hawaiian Eye 2022, John Berdahl, MD, of Vance Thompson Vision in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, spoke about premium and toric IOLs in patients with glaucoma.
“I was actually quite surprised in an informal poll of the audience at how many surgeons did premium IOLs,” Berdahl said. “The vast majority of hands went up, but they actually stayed up when [asked if they would] do a premium IOL on a glaucoma patient. I was surprised by that.”
