In his keynote Euretina Lecture, delivered at the virtual Euretina congress, SriniVas Sadda, MD, highlighted the critical role of the choriocapillaris in age-related macular degeneration.
Studies with OCT angiography have shown that the choriocapillaris is affected early on in aging and might be an early biomarker of disease onset and progression.
