VIDEO: Archway port delivery system ‘exciting’ for patients, physicians
In this video, Arshad M. Khanani, MD, MA, clinical associate professor of ophthalmology, University of Nevada, discussed the ARCHWAY study presented at the virtual American Academy of Ophthalmology annual meeting.
“Port Delivery System with ranibizumab has the potential of decreasing treatment burden,” Khanani said of the study presented by Nancy Holekamp, MD. “The patient satisfaction survey that Dr. Holekamp presented showed over 90% of patients actually preferred the port delivery system, so these are exciting times for patients, as well as practicing physicians to have this option available, hopefully in the next few years.”
