OSLI Retina selected as official journal of Retina World Congress
OSLI Retina will be the official journal of the Retina World Congress beginning with the January 2021 issue, according to a press release.
“We are excited to welcome RWC and look forward to their contributions to the success of OSLI Retina. Their commitment to education and communicating scientific advances in retinal health align perfectly with the mission of the publication,” John C. Carter, chief operating officer of Wyanoke Group, said in the release.
“On behalf of the entire editorial board, we are honored that Retina World Congress chose OSLI Retina as its official journal,” Darius M. Moshfeghi, MD, editor-in-chief of OSLI Retina, said in the release.
In 2019, Healio Live was chosen to produce the biennial meeting. However, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 Retina World Congress has been rescheduled to Feb. 6 to 9, 2022, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
OSLI Retina focuses on retinal diseases, surgery and pharmacotherapy and offers an expedited submission-to-publication process.
“This partnership fits remarkably well into the Retina World Congress family and aligns perfectly with our goals of promoting and enhancing global education, research and scientific communication in retina. It will be a great benefit to retina specialists across the globe,” Tarek S. Hassan, MD, president of Retina World Congress, said in the release.
Healio Live is a sister company of Healio and SLACK Incorporated, publishers of Ocular Surgery News and OSLI Retina, all of which are companies of Wyanoke Group.
