Emilio Torres-Netto, MD, won first prize in the refractive category at the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons virtual meeting.
In a study on PACK-cross-linking as first-line treatment for infectious keratitis, Torres-Netto and his co-authors were able to reach the important conclusion that epithelization time was comparable to antibiotic therapy.
