Octane’s OTS venue now totally virtual
The 2020 Ophthalmology Technology Summit is now slated to be a totally virtual conference, Octane announced.
The decision to make the conference 100% virtual was made by industry partners, physicians, the planning committee and medical advisors.
The event, now spanning Aug. 6 to 8, offers opportunities for collaboration and networking, while providing a high-quality experience, according to an Octane press release.
The virtual summit gives users on-demand access to the full content library as well as live talks from industry leaders. The event’s app lets attendees connect and network throughout the event, and attendee interaction is prioritized through live panels where participants can ask questions during the event.
The in-person experience is expected to return for the 2021 summit in tandem with a virtual element.
