Octane’s Ophthalmology Technology Summit is now rescheduled for Aug. 6-8 and will be held virtually, according to a press release.
AbbVie CEO and chairman of the board Richard A. Gonzalez is slated as keynote speaker for the event.
Upon AbbVie’s separation from Abbott in 2013, Gonzalez had already served in a variety of senior leadership positions, including Abbott president and chief operating officer.
In addition to hearing from Gonzalez, “Attendees can expect to hear from executives, leaders and physicians in the ophthalmology field as well as network through our engaging virtual networking platform,” the release said.
