Mynosys rebrands as Centricity Vision

Centricity Vision Inc. is the new name of Mynosys Cellular Devices.
The name change and a new executive team more closely reflect the company’s core competency, a company press release said.
The company, which offers the Zepto cataract system, has appointed a new executive team led by new CEO Rob Thornhill. The rebrand has been in development since the fourth quarter of 2019.
“The rebrand does not impact our customers using or recommending the Zepto platform,” Thornhill told Healio/OSN. The Zepto automates the anterior capsulotomy.
“Our unwavering dedication to improving cataract surgery outcomes for our surgeon customers and their patients remains unchanged through this new chapter for Centricity Vision,” Thornhill said. “In this new environment, it’s more important than ever to assist surgeons in adapting to new techniques and tools. We will continue to provide our customers with the support and resources that will enable them to achieve procedural excellence with Zepto and beyond as we look to expand our product offerings in refractive surgery.”
