Pseudophakic bullous keratopathy is a consequence and an indicator of the sequelae of the intraoperative struggle during cataract surgery. These cases often necessitate an endothelial keratoplasty procedure, as it is essential to replace the damaged endothelial cells with a donor graft with a high cell count. DMEK, DSEK, DSAEK, DMAEK and PDEK are the various endothelial keratoplasty procedures employed by surgeons to replace the diseased endothelium of the recipient with that of the donor.

The video demonstrates the technique of PDEK and highlights the preparation of donor graft and insertion into the recipient eye. Dr. Amar Agarwal has contributed the video to this blog.
