NEW YORK — In her presentation at OSN New York 2019, Cynthia A. Matossian, MD, FACS, discusses her study evaluating the use of LipiFlow thermal pulsation therapy (Johnson & Johnson Vision) prior to cataract surgery in patients with meibomian gland disease. Treatment affected the axis and magnitude of astigmatism, which often precipitated a change in the surgical treatment plan, she said.
