The enVista toric MX60ET hydrophobic acrylic IOL with StableFlex technology has been introduced by Bausch + Lomb, according to a press release.

The MX60ET delivers a glistening-free optic and broad range of cylinder power as low as 1.25 D, the release said. It is part of the enVista family of lenses, which includes monofocal and toric IOLs.

“A significant number of today’s cataract patients have astigmatism, and addressing it at the time of cataract surgery should be our priority as it would be with prescribing spectacles or contact lenses,” Chuck Hess, vice president and general manager, U.S. Surgical, Bausch + Lomb, said in the release. “The enVista toric MX60ET, the newest toric option available in the U.S., is designed to deliver high quality of vision and exceptional rotational stability to a broad range of patients, with the added benefit of enhanced optic recovery provided by StableFlex technology.”
