Advancing Eyecare acquires Ophthalmic Instruments Inc.
Advancing Eyecare has acquired the ophthalmic instrument distributor Ophthalmic Instruments Inc., according to a press release.
Advancing Eyecare, a partnership of eye care instrumentation marketplace leaders that was formed by Atlantic Street Capital with Lombart Instrument and Marco Ophthalmic, currently includes Macro, Lombart, Enhanced Medical Services and Innova Medical Ophthalmics.
“Over the past 40 years, the Shone family has built OII into one of the leading and most respected providers of ophthalmic instruments on the West Coast, and we are pleased to have them become a vital part of the Advancing Eyecare family of brands,” Brad Staley, CEO of Advancing Eyecare, said in the release. “As we continue to further develop our national footprint, we look forward to working with the talented and tenured professionals at OII to provide quality products and personal service to their clients.”
