Iridex reported revenue increased 1.2% to $10.4 million in the second quarter of 2019 compared with $10.3 million during the same period in 2018, according to a press release.

Net loss in the second quarter was $2.4 million, or $0.18 per share, compared with a net loss of $3.3 million, or $0.28 per share, in the same period last year.

Operating expenses for the second quarter decreased to $7 million from $7.6 million a year prior, while gross profit for the second quarter was $4.5 million compared with $4.3 million the year before.

Iridex had cash and cash equivalents of $15.6 million and no debt as of June 29.
