VANCOUVER, British Columbia —Allen C. Ho, MD, of Wills Eye Hospital discusses phase 1/2 data from a clinical trial of a gene therapy treatment candidate for wet age-related macular degeneration at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology meeting.

The single-dose NAV AAV8 treatment has shown safety in all cohorts and a promising reduction in the need for rescue injections in its third cohort, Ho said.
