VANCOUVER, British Columbia — At the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology meeting, Catharina Busch, MD, discusses results of the OBTAIN study, a retrospective study comparing 12-month outcomes of untreated and treated diabetic macular edema with very good baseline visual acuity in a real world setting. The majority of patients with good visual acuity maintained vision at 12 months regardless of whether or not DME treatment was conducted.
