VANCOUVER, British Columbia — At the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology meeting, Boris Stanzel, MD, discusses a retrospective case study in which subthreshold laser treatment was used following macular hole restoration. Patients in the study showed recovery of subfoveal ellipsoid zone defects after laser treatments and better visual acuity, he said.
