The inaugural Cornea360 meeting took place in Scottsdale, Arizona, earlier this month, bringing together cornea specialists from across the country.

Healio.com/OSN was on site at the meeting to interview key opinion leaders and presenters.

VIDEO: An epiphany from debate over DREAM study

Darrell E. White, MD, says he had an epiphany over the DREAM study during a spirited debate by Penny A. Asbell, MD, and Alice Epitropoulos, MD, over the study. While the study looked at the effect of omega-3 treatment in addition to other treatments such as lifitegrast, he said this is not how most dry eye physicians use omega-3s. He said that omega-3s are a foundational treatment for dry eye, which is fundamentally different from how they were studied in DREAM. Watch here.
