WAIKOLOA, Hawaii — At Hawaiian Eye 2019, Savak “Sev” Teymoorian, MD, MBA, explains how the use of minimally invasive glaucoma surgery can be helpful in patients with glaucoma and astigmatism who are undergoing cataract surgery. Patients achieve good refractive results from the surgery, IOP lowering from the MIGS procedure and “minimal, if any, astigmatic changes,” when the appropriate MIGS device is chosen, he said.
