ORLANDO — At Cataract Surgery: Telling It Like It Is, Cathy Schanzer, MD, discusses how a long-term steroid formulation, Dropless TriMoxi (triamcinolone acetonide-moxifloxacin, Imprimis), was advantageous in a cataract surgery case for an 18-month-old boy who was the son of a missionary couple returning home to Sudan. Due to that success, she began using it regularly in patients at her mission in Sierra Leone as well as her practice in Memphis, Tennessee.
