WAIKOLOA, Hawaii — There was no statistically significant difference in visual acuity results in patients with wet age-related macular degeneration and concurrent macular hole who underwent surgical closure vs. patients who did not undergo repair, according to a study presented by Lisa J. Faia, MD, at Retina 2019.
