OD-OS has released new software for the Navilas 577s retinal laser system.

The version 3.5 software includes an intuitive anterior segment treatment mode for laser peripheral iridotomy for the treatment of narrow-angle glaucoma, a press release said.

It is designed to be used in combination with a standard iridotomy Abraham lens with 0.63× laser spot magnification. This allows preparation of the iris with the Navilas 577s and completion of the iridotomy with less bleeding using a YAG laser.
