RightEye LLC received FDA clearance for its RightEye system for recording, viewing and analyzing eye movements to identify visual tracking impairment.

The system tracks eye movements and correlates them to health issues using advanced eye-tracking technology and analytics. The system can objectively identify functional vision issues, track reading proficiency in real time and identify opportunities to strengthen performance-related aspects of vision, according to a company press release.

The system also provides computer-based vision exercises to address oculomotor issues.

“We are thrilled to receive clearance from the FDA. It is the culmination of years of scientific research, product development and hard work that have led us to this critical milestone. RightEye is committed to providing innovative, proven eye-tracking solutions that empower doctors to differentiate and expand their practices while transforming the lives of their patients through improved health and wellness,” Adam Gross, RightEye co-founder and CEO, said in the release.
