SightLife Surgical is changing its name to CorneaGen and launching several products at the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery meeting, the company announced in a press release.

The products include tissue storage media with antifungal Ampho B, the Geuder preloaded glass cannula for Descemet’s membrane endothelial keratoplasty, and Intacs corneal implants for keratoconus, the release said.

“Over the past year and a half, we have been expanding into more products and services to transform how corneal surgeons treat the cornea. To reflect this expansion and to help audiences connect us to the broader cornea ecosystem, we have changed our name to CorneaGen,” Monty Montoya, company president and CEO, said in the release. “We believe this new name conveys our expansion and communicates that we will be innovating the next generation of medical devices, biologics, therapeutics and interventions that will transform cornea care.”
