Rudolph Wagner, MD, to appear on The Doctors

OSN Pediatrics/Strabismus Board Member and Journal of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Chief Medical Editor Rudolph S. Wagner, MD, will appear on The Doctors on CBS Monday, March 12.
Wagner, who is also a SLACK Incorporated book author, will discuss his volunteer work in Binh Dinh, Vietnam, with the Orbis Flying Eye Hospital, an MD-10 aircraft outfitted with on-board operating rooms and equipment including a 3-D microscope and camera.
“I was primarily teaching and performing surgery with two local Vietnamese pediatric ophthalmologists who desired to enhance their surgical skills, particularly for vertical muscles,” Wagner said in an email to Healio.com/OSN.
The Doctors filmed some of the trip, which will be aired with Wagner’s appearance.
“The purpose of Orbis is to bring people together in the fight against avoidable blindness. My appearance was all about how the team accomplishes this,” he said.
