Imprimis dispensing glaucoma medications on FDA drug shortage list
Imprimis Pharmaceuticals is now dispensing preservative-free dorzolamide and a preservative-free dorzolamide/timolol formulation after dorzolamide was added to the FDA drug shortage list, the company announced in a press release.
The two glaucoma medications will not be dispensed with preservatives such as benzalkonium chloride, which is linked to adverse effects, the release said.
The drugs are available in all 50 states and Puerto Rico.
