Tuesday’s Hawaiian Eye 2018 speakers of the day named

WAILEA, Hawaii — David F. Chang, MD, received the Hawaiian Eye Comprehensive Program’s Speaker of the Day for Tuesday.
Each year, Chang presents a series of complicated cataract and IOL cases using video and vignettes. Using an audience response system, he asks attendees to vote on what clinical decision they would have made next. The voting is then followed up with insight from an expert panel assembled by Chang.
Daniel F. Martin, MD, was awarded Speaker of the Day for Retina 2018. Singh presented “Geographic Atrophy: What Causes It” and “Latest Findings from CATT.”
Anish Kapur, MD, received Speaker of the Day for the Administrator Program. Tuesday was New Technology Day. Kapur presented “Applying Digital Technology: Your Guide to Apps, Compliancy and Ransomware.”
Rhonda G. Waldron, MMSc, COMT, CRA, ROUB, CDOS, received Speaker of the Day for the Nursing & Allied Health Program of Hawaiian Eye. Tuesday was Cataract and Refractive Day. Waldron’s presentation was “Things You Didn’t Know You Didn’t Know about Biometry.”
